Rachel Reich, PhD

As founder and director of The Center for DBT and Trauma Recovery, I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing individual and couples therapy to individuals across the lifespan. While my treatment approach is integrative, I have specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as gold standard treatments for trauma including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Prolonged Exposure (PE). I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. My training includes experiences at Zucker Hillside Hospital centers of specialization, OMH psychiatric centers, and university counseling. I completed a post-doctoral fellowship as well as served as staff psychologist at a large DBT private practice providing full-fidelity DBT to adolescents and adults. In addition to private practice, I am currently affiliated with Northwell Health where I provide consultation and conduct DBT trainings on the Behavioral Health College Partnership (BHCP) inpatient unit.

Ilana Bergman, PsyD

Ilana Bergman is a postdoctoral fellow at The Center for DBT and Trauma Recovery. She earned her Psy.D. from Pace University and completed her APA accredited internship at Nassau University Medical Center, where she provided care to adolescents and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Bergman works collaboratively with teens and adults to address a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, trauma, and challenges in relationships. Her clinical approach is primarily grounded in evidence-based treatments, including CBT and DBT, which she uses to support skill development, symptom reduction, and lasting change.  Dr. Bergman also integrates psychodynamic therapy, with an emphasis on understanding how early experiences and relational patterns shape emotional functioning and current relationships. Dr. Bergman strives to provide a warm, thoughtful and collaborative therapeutic environment that supports both insight and practical growth. Dr. Bergman is fluent in Spanish and offers therapy to Spanish speaking individuals and families. Please reach out to arrange a phone consultation to learn more about working together.
